Booking & Paying
Booking Process
- Complete the Booking Form: Fill out a quick form to initiate the process.
- Consultation: We'll contact you to discuss trip details and answer any questions without obligation.
- Secure Your Booking:
- Fill out the Online Waiver and Reservation Form.
- Pay the deposit (50% of the total price).
- The remaining balance is due 3 months before the trip's start date.
Note: Deposits are non-refundable, and final payments are non-refundable after the payment deadline.
Payment Methods
- Foreign Clients:
- You will receive an invoice through Flywire, which offers options for payment by credit card or bank transfer.
- Currency exchange rates will be listed in your local currency. Flywire provides competitive rates compared to other transfer methods.
- No additional fees for credit card payments; the cost is included in the rate offered.
- Canadian Clients:
- Pay via E-transfer to billing@sawback.com.
- Credit card payments in CAD are accepted (3% processing fee). Indicate your preferred payment method on your Personal Information.
Booking Conditions
- Deposit & Booking: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking unless specified otherwise. You must complete the Waiver and Reservation Form during this process.
- You will receive an invoice through Flywire for most payment options, including foreign currency conversions.
- Canadian clients can pay through E-transfer.
- Final payment is due 90 days before the trip starts.
- Confirmation & Trip Information:
- Once your registration is complete and your deposit is paid, your booking will be confirmed
- Detailed trip information, including equipment lists, itineraries, and logistics, can be found on each trip's webpage.
Insurance
- Trip Cancellation/Medical/Evacuation Insurance:
- It is recommended to purchase trip cancellation insurance to cover potential financial losses if you are unable to participate or must interrupt your trip.
- All participants must also have health insurance that covers emergency rescue and evacuation.
- For technical trips, ensure your insurance includes coverage for “roped travel.”
- Travel Insurance Provider: We can refer you to insurance providers offering adventure travel insurance packages, which our past clients have found reliable.
- Best Practice: Purchase your insurance within 10 days of booking to maximize your coverage.
Cancellations & Late Payments
- If you need to cancel or make a late payment, notify us in writing (preferably by email).
- Late payments may lead to cancellation of your booking.
- In rare cases, we may offer a credit toward a future trip (less an administrative fee). Refunds are not available.
Cancelled Programs
- Once your booking is confirmed, your trip is guaranteed to depart.
- However, we reserve the right to make changes due to unforeseen circumstances such as guide illness, weather conditions, or route closures.
- In such cases, we will adjust the itinerary or offer alternative arrangements.
- Delays or disruptions caused by factors beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, epidemics, etc.) will not be considered a default on our part.
Fitness & Group Travel
- It is your responsibility to assess your skill level and physical condition for the trip.
- The guide’s decision-making will prioritize group safety and balance the needs of all participants.
- Unprepared participants may be denied participation without a refund.
- For more customized experiences, consider a private booking.
