Mission Statement In all our courses and trips we seek to achieve the following goals: 1. To provide a true adventure experience. Learning to climb means exploring, trying, testing, and growing from the experience. 2. Enliven a sense of wonder and spontaneity. We hope to provide not just a summit, not just skills instruction, but an opportunity for participants to have their lives enriched by the mountains. It is our desire to create a safe "adventure" environment from which guests can personally evaluate and perhaps even extend their comfort zones not only physically and technically but spiritually as well. 3. To maintain a high standard for the outdoor component. This means an exciting, well-managed, and safe wilderness curriculum (such as rock climbing and hiking) in the majesty of Western Canada's mountains, led by experienced, dedicated instructors. 4. To keep our programmes accessible. This means (a) affordable, (b) viable for persons with varying outdoors experience and physical ability, and (c) open and non-threatening to those who are "just learning". Sawback Alpine Adventures
